| The Group's principal activity is to provide banking services. The Group operates through wholly-owned subsidiary United Bank. The Group offers deposit accounts, including demand accounts, NOW accounts, money market accounts, savings accounts, retirement accounts and certificates of deposit. The Group lends mortgage loans secured by one-to four-family residential real estate, commercial real estate, commercial, industrial loans, home equity loans, construction loans, automobile loans and other consumer loans. The Group also provides insurance and investment products and financial planning services. The Group operates all financial products and services through 14 branch offices located in Agawam, East Longmeadow, Feeding Hills, Holyoke, Huntington, Indian Orchard, Longmeadow, Ludlow, Northampton, Springfield and Westfield, Massachusetts as well as the Express Drive-Up branch in Northampton, Massachusetts. |
