It also provides specially managed care products and services to employers, employee groups, insurers, health maintenance organization and other providers. The Group operates in four segments. Optum Health provides health,financial and ancillary benefit that assist consumers in navigating the health care system. Health care service segment coordinates health and well-being services on behalf of local employers and consumers nationwide, Americans age 50 and older, facilitates health care benefits and services for state Medicaid and other government-sponsored health care programs. Prescription Solutions provides comprehensive suite of integrated pharmacy benefit management services. Ingenix business offers database and data management, software products, consulting and pharmaceutical services. It acquired Unison Health Plans on 30-May-2008.
