| The Group's principal activity is to produce and process textile yarns. The Group operates through two business segments: Polyester and Nylon. The polyester segment produces textured, dyed, twisted and beamed yarns. The nylon segment produces textured nylon and covered spandex products. These products are sold to knitters and weavers who produce fabrics for the apparel, automotive and furniture upholstery, home furnishings, hosiery, socks and industrial markets. The Company has a significant operation in Brazil, Colombia and joint ventures in China and Israel. The Company serves customers in Canada, Mexico, Israel and various countries in Europe, Central America, and South Africa. On 01-Jan-2007, the Group completed acquisition of certain assets from Dillon Yarn Corporation. |
