Tverskoy vagonostroitel'nyi zavod OAO (Railwaycar-Building Works Tver OJSC or TVZ OAO) is a Russia-based company engaged in the production of rail carriages. The Company’s product portfolio consists of passenger carriages of various modifications, freight and special purposes carriages, postal-baggage carriages, trailer carriages for the electric trains and spare parts. The Company sells its products on the domestic market, as well as exports them to the Baltic countries, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries and North Africa. It main customer is RZhD OAO (the Russian Railways OJSC). TVZ OAO operates through one representative office located in Moscow, as well as four subsidiaries and one affiliated company. As of May 12, 2010, the Company’s major shareholder was Sapfir OOO with a stake of 50.64%.
