The Group's principal activities are refining, marketing and distribution of oil and related products, as well as electricity and natural gas. The joint venture company, Shell & Turcas Petrol A.S. (STAS), carries out the Group's oil activities through a network of 1239 gas stations, delivering services all around Turkey. It is involved in energy projects for the generation, distribution and trading of electricity through its subsidiaries, Turcas Elektrik Uretim A.S., Turcas Elektrik Toptan Satis A.S. and Turcas EPC. The import, export and wholesale of natural gas are handled by Turcas Gaz Toptan Satis A.S. The Group is also interested in investing and partnering with foreign companies, regarding the exploration and production of crude oil.
