The Group's principal activity is to provide life and non-life insurance and reinsurance. The Group operates in five segments; Personal & Commercial Denmark, Personal & Commercial Norway, Corporate, Finland and Sweden. The two Personal & Commercial segments offer insurances to private households and small and medium-sized enterprises in Denmark and Norway. Sales are handled through service centres, car dealers, affinity groups, real estate agents and Nordea's branches. The Corporate segments offer insurances to corporate clients through internal and external brokers. The General Insurance segment provides insurances to private household customers and small enterprises. The Group operates in Scandinavia.
