The Company's principal activity is to discover and develop and markets novel pharmaceuticals. The core technology platform is based on fusion inhibition disease by preventing viruses from entering host immune cells. Fuzeon is the Company's first-generation Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) fusion inhibitor. It is used in combination of other anti-HIV drugs for the treatment of HIV-1 infection in treatment-experienced patients. T-1249 is the second-generation fusion inhibitor. FUZEON is developed in collaboration with F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd. The Group's products sold through retail and specialty pharmacies across the United States and Canada.
