The Group's principal activity is to operate as a tourist railway with related services in Alaska, British Columbia and the Yukon Territory under the business name White Pass and Yukon route . The Group is also involved in merchant backing activities. Tourism, rail and docking activities are provided through wholly owned subsidiaries. It operates docking facilities for ships and a tourist scenic historic railway primarily in Alaska with a small portion in Canada.
