The Group's principal activity is selling timber, building materials, plumbing and heating products. It is also involved in the hiring of tools to the building trade and industry. It has two operating divisions comprising Builders Merchanting and DIY Retailing. It supplies more than 130,000 product lines to trade professionals and self-builders including general building materials, timber, plumbing and heating, kitchens, bathrooms, landscaping materials and tool hire, together with a range of services including its trade-dedicated website. The Group operates predominantly in the United Kingdom.
