| Trans Asia Hotels PLC is a Sri Lanka-based company engaged in hoteliering. The Company owns Trans Asia Hotel, a five-star hotel situated in Colombo. The Company also derives rental income from the commercial property adjoining the hotel. The hotel comprises 359 rooms and suites, spread across seven floors. All are individually temperature controlled and come with international direct dialing, television with over 35 satellite television channels, radio, mini bar, an in-room safe, complimentary toiletries, private bathtub and shower, 110 volts alternating current (AC) outlet for razor, hairdryer and high-speed Internet. It also has a 24 hour business centre, outdoor swimming pool, library lounge and night club, fitness centre/gymnasium, three clay tennis courts, and executive club lounge. The restaurants include Goodies, Royal Thai, Saffron, The Terrace, Citron, Library Lounge and Night Club, Summerfield’s, Beira Lounge, Long Feng, Beira Lake Pool Bar and Sushi Bar. |
