The Group's principal activities are to design, produce and supply engineered aircraft components for the use in commercial and military aircraft in service. The products offered to end-users in the aerospace industry include ignition systems and components, gear pumps, mechanical/electro-mechanical actuators and controls, NiCad batteries/chargers, power conditioning devices, hold-open rods and locking devices, engineered connectors, engineered latches and cockpit security devices, lavatory hardware and components, specialized AC/DC electric motors and specialized valving. The Group operates in the United States of America. In December 2008, the Company acquired Aircraft Parts Corporation (APC) from Unison Industries LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Electric Company's GE Aviation business unit.
