The Group's principal activity is to generate and market electricity and other energy related commodities and physical and financial contracts. It operates into two business segments: Generation and Commercial Operations and Development. The Generation group is responsible for constructing, operating and maintaining electricity generation facilities. The Commercial Operations and Development group is responsible for managing the sale of production, purchasing natural gas, transmission capacity and market risks associated with the Corporation's generation assets and for non asset backed trading activities. The Group operates in Canada, the United States, Mexico and Australia.
