The Company's principal activity is to operate retail farm and ranch stores. It supplies the daily farm and ranch maintenance needs to farmers and ranchers, tradesmen and small businesses. The products offered by the Company include livestock and pet, seasonal products, hardware and tools, clothing and footwear and Truck and Towing. They also include maintenance products for agricultural and rural use, lawn and garden power equipment and truck, trailer and towing products. As of 27-Dec-2008 it operated 855 retail farm and ranch stores in 44 states. The stores are located in towns outlying major metropolitan markets and in rural communities.
