The Group's principal activities are the manufacturing and sale of medical equipment, measuring equipment, industrial machinery and optical devices. The operations are carried out through the following divisions: Positioning business; Eye care business; and Fine technology. The Positioning business includes GPS surveying systems, digital image surveyor and theodolite etc. The Eye-care segment includes fundus cameras, tonometers, slit lamps and laser photocoagulators. The Fine Technology segment deals with wafer surface inspection equipment, proximity exposure equipment, semiconductor-related precision optical units, optical units for projectors and digital versatile discs (DVDs).
