Thomson Financial Business Description:
| The Group's principal activities are provision of Internet content and print-based media. The Group publishes information and entertainment contents for its corporate clients and also develops operating systems, content and communication solutions. The Group operates through four business divisions. i) Portal: It provides a range of Internet content, including solutions for news content, as well as financial, economic and city information. ii) Technology: It provides Web services, content management systems and onboard entertainment, and Equity Investments, which manages the Company's holdings in other firms. iii) Equity Investment: It deals with the property market, publishing of issues from the financial sector and travel industry. iv) Administration: It provides services to the holding companies. Transfer payments between the segments and invoices are calculated by this segment. The Group operates in Germany and Switzerland. |
