The Group's principal activity is to design, build, market and arrange financing for single-family detached and attached homes in luxury residential communities. It operates in four segments: The North, the Mid-Atlantic, the South and the West. The Group also develops, owns and operates golf courses and country clubs associated with several master planned communities. At 31-Oct-2009, the Group had 251 communities containing approximately 17,831 home sites.
