| The Group's principal activity is to design, build, market and arranges financing for single-family detached and attached homes in luxury residential communities. It operates in four segments: The North, the Mid-Atlantic, the South and the West. The Group also involved in projects where building or converting existing rental apartment buildings into high, middle and low-rise luxury homes. It operates own land development, architectural, engineering, mortgage, title, security monitoring, landscaping, lumber distribution, house component assembly and manufacturing operations. The Group also develops, own and operate golf courses and country clubs. At October 31, 2008, the Group operated in 637 communities containing approximately 35,851 home sites in the United States. |
