The Group's principal activity is operating hypermarkets, supermarkets and department stores in the People's Republic of China. It offers a range of merchandises to customers, which can be divided into three principal categories, namely, fresh food and delicatessen, groceries and household supplies, and general household products and merchandise. The Group is also involved in investment holding.
