The Group's principal activities are to harvest and market logs, wood chips and other wood products. The Group also operates a lumber mill at Elk Falls on Vancouver Island that consumes lower value logs primarily sourced from public tenures. The Group owns 334,000 hectares of private land located on Vancouver Island. The Group holds about 6,000 hectares of properties that are being made available for real estate development purposes. The Group operates in Canada, Japan, the United States, Belgium, China, Korea, Taiwan and Pakistan.
