The Group's principal activity is to operate, develop and franchise quick-service restaurants serving high-quality food including hot and cold coffee, baked goods, sandwiches and soups. It operates through more than 2,917 restaurants in Canada and 520 restaurants in the United States under the name Tim Hortons. In additions to regular locations the Group has also operates restaurants at shopping malls, highway outlets, universities and hospitals.
