| The Group's principal activity is to provide ticket sales, ticket resale services, market and distribute through www.ticketmaster.com, e-commerce sites and mobile channels, approximately 7,100 independent sales outlets and 17 call centers worldwide. It operates in two segments: Ticketing and Artist Services. Ticketing segment sells tickets to live entertainment, sporting and leisure events at arenas, stadiums and theaters on behalf of clients and retains a convenience charge and order processing fee for services. Artist Services segment provides management services to music recording artists in exchange for a commission on the earnings of these artists and also sells merchandise associated with musical artists at live musical performances, to retailers and directly to consumers via the internet. The Group operates in the United States, Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, China, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Finland, Denmark and Turkey. |
