Thomson Financial Business Description:
| The Company's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The objective of the Company is to provide shareholders with capital growth and an attractive total return from investment predominantly in listed United Kingdom smaller companies. The Company is an Investment Company within the meaning of Part VII of the Companies Act 1985. The Company has been approved by the Inland Revenue as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 30-Nov-2006. Investment management services are provided by AXA Framlington Investment Management Ltd for a quarterly fee calculated at the rate of 0.19375% (exclusive of VAT) on the Company's gross assets up to 250million and 0.125% on the gross assets above 250million. The agreement is terminable by one year's notice. |
