| The Group's principal activities are the development and sale of satellite telecommunications systems for use in the transport sector. The Group operates through four business segments Maritime, Systems, Land Mobile and Aeronautical. Maritime: provides communication systems in sea. The system segment supplies land earth station equipment connecting mobile communication equipment to terrestrial interface or rescue control centres. The land Mobile segment develops normal land communication systems. The aeronautical segment provides communication equipment for planes. The Group has operations in Europe, North America , South America, Asia, Australia & Oceania. The Group acquired Nera ASA in 2006. |
