The Group operates under five segments: Systems, Services, Technology, Corporate and Others. Under Systems, the Group produces and sells retail products such as television, video, audio and DVDs. Under the Services segment, it provides services to the film and media industry, produces and distributes motion picture films, DVDs, CDs and video cassettes. Under Technology, it undertakes research and development, patents and licensing, provides silicon solutions and software and technological solutions. Under Corporate, it operates and manages its headquarters. Under Others, it operates the factories at Angers and Genlis, where Cathode ray tubes are manufactured. Its main brands are Technicolor, Thomson, Grass Valley and RCA. The Group operates in Europe, North America and Asia. In 2008, the Group acquired NBC Universal. |
