The Group's principal activities are to design and manufacture the electrical components used in industrial, commercial, communications, and utility markets. It operates through three segments: Electrical segment designs, manufactures and markets thousands of different connectors, components and other products for electrical, utility and communications applications. Steel Structures segment designs, manufactures and markets highly engineered tubular steel transmission and distribution poles and lattice steel transmission towers for North American power and telecommunications companies. Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) segment designs, manufactures and markets heating and ventilation products for commercial and industrial buildings. The Group has operations in 20 countries. Its activities are concentrated primarily in North America and Europe.
