| The Group's principal activities are manufacturing specialize equipments and delivering through-life engineering solutions. It operates in three segments. The Oil and Gas segment manufactures pumps and ancillary equipment and provides aftermarket support for the upstream and downstream oil and gas markets. The Minerals segment designs and manufactures pumps, hydrocyclones, valves and other equipment with primary sales to the mining, flue gas desulphurisation and oil sands markets. The Power and Industrial segment designs, manufactures and provides aftermarket support for rotating and flow control equipment to the global power generation and industrial sectors. On 24-June-2008, the Group acquired Mesa Manufacturing Inc. The Group operates in the United Kingdom, the United States of America, the Netherlands, France, China, India, Chile, Brazil, Canada, Italy, South Africa and Australia. |
