| The Group's principal activity is to manufacture and distribute coatings and paint products. The Group operates in two segments: Paints and Coatings. The Paint segment consists of various products like architectural paints, primers, varnishes, enamels, automotive refinish and other speciality coatings. The Coating segment consists of packaging coatings, industrial coatings for factory application by industrial customers and original equipment manufacturers. The Group also manufactures specialty polymers, composites and colorants, which are used internally and sold to other coatings manufacturers. The Group operates in North America, South America, Australia, Europe and Asia. In 2007 the Group acquired Teknos Nova Coil TNC Oy. |
