The Group's principal activity is that of a real estate development company. The operations include town, resort, commercial and industrial development, land sales and commercial real estate services. In addition, it also has significant interests in timber. The Group operates through four segments: Residential Real Estate, Commercial Real Estate, Rural Land Sales and Forestry. The Residential Real Estate segment generates revenues from the sale of developed home sites, parcels of entitled, undeveloped land, housing units and resort and club operations. The Commercial Real Estate segment derives revenues from the sale of developed and undeveloped land for retail, multi-family, office and industrial uses. The Rural Land Sales division derives revenues from sale of parcels of undeveloped land and rural land with limited development. The Forestry segment derives revenues from sale of pulpwood, timber and forest products.
