| The Group's principal activity is to manufacture engineered capital goods and provide support services. The Group operates in three segments: Cranes and related products, Foodservice equipment and Marine. Cranes and related products segment designs, manufactures and markets crawler cranes, tower cranes and boom trucks for use in industrial projects, infrastructure development, construction and mining. Foodservice equipment segment designs, manufactures and markets ice making machines, refrigerator and fountain beverage delivery systems for the restaurant, lodging, convenience store and foodservice markets. Marine service segment provides shipbuilding, repair and maintenance services in the U.S. The Group has international operations in Europe and Asia. Major brand names of the Group are Manitowoc, Multiplex, Kolpak, Harford-Duracool, McCall, McCann's, Koolaire, Flomatic, Kyees and RDI. On 19-Jul-2007 the Group acquired Shirke Construction Equipments Pvt Ltd. |
