| The Group's principal activity is to manufacture and market fruit spreads, peanut butter, shortening and oils, ice cream toppings, sweetened condensed milk and health and natural foods beverages in North America. The brand includes Smucker's, Jif, Crisco, Pillsbury, Eagle Brand, R.W. Knudsen Family, Hungry Jack, White Lily, and Martha White in the United States, along with Robin Hood, Five Roses, Carnation, Europe's Best and Bick's in Canada. The Group operates in two segments: The U.S. retail market and Special markets. The U.S. retail market segment includes the domestic sales of consumer and consumer oils and baking business. The Special markets segment is comprised of the international, foodservice, beverage, and Canada strategic business. On May 1, 2007, the Group acquired Eagle Family Foods Holdings Inc. |
