The Group's principal activity is hotel operation, which include renting of hotel room accommodation, leasing of commercial shopping arcades and office premises, provision of food and beverage at restaurant outlets, operation of retail outlets and other minor departments such as spa, telephone, guest transportation and laundry within the hotel premises. Other activities are leasing of commercial and office premises (other than those in hotel properties) and residential apartments; operation of golf courses, the Peak Tram, food and beverage outlets other than those in owned hotels, wholesaling of food and beverage products, laundry, provision of management and consultancy services for clubs and sale of land lots and investment holding. Operations of the Group are carried out in Hong Kong, the United States of America and other countries in Asia.
