| The Group's principal activities are to design, manufacture and market the transportation equipment and to provide services to the railroad and related industries. It operates in two segments: Manufacturing, refurbishment and parts and leasing and services. Manufacturing segment produces double-stack intermodal railcars, conventional railcars, tank cars, marine vessels and performs railcar repair, refurbishment and maintenance activities. Leasing and other related services segment performs repair and refurbishment activities for both intermodal, conventional railcars shippers, carriers and other leasing and transportation companies. The customers of the Group includes Class I railroads, regional and short-line railroads, other leasing Companies, shippers, carriers and other transportation Companies. It operates in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Europe. |
