The Group's principal activities are developing, manufacturing and selling healthcare products. The Group operates in two segments: CooperVision and CooperSurgical. CooperVision markets a broad range of specialty contact lenses for the worldwide vision correction market. The Group's CooperVision product includes disposable spherical and specialty contact lenses. CooperSurgical develops, manufactures and markets medical devices, diagnostic products and surgical instruments and accessories used primarily by gynecologists and obstetricians. The Group's products include toric lenses to correct astigmatism, cosmetic lenses to change or enhance the appearance of eyes' natural color, multifocal lenses and lenses for patients with dry eyes. The Group majorly operates in the United States and Europe.
