Thomson Financial Business Description:
| The Company's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The objective of the Company is to provide long term growth in income and capital, principally by investment in The United Kingdom equities. The Company is an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. The Company has been approved by the HM Revenue and Customs as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 30-Jun-2006. Investment management services are provided by Henderson Global Investors Ltd for a fee calculated at the rate of 0.30% on the first 400 million of assets under management and 0.25% on assets under management in excess of 400 million payable quarterly in arrears based on the level of assets at the relevant quarter end. The agreement is reviewed annually and has a six months' notice period. |
