| The Group's principal activity, as a regional bank based in Chiba Prefecture, is to provide banking services and other financial products and services. The operations are carried out through the following divisions: Banking, Lease and Other operations. The Banking division is involved with deposits, loans and domestic/foreign exchanges. The other operations include securities, credit card, consulting, personnel supply, and office maintenance/management businesses. As on 31-Mar-2008, the operations are carried out through 176 offices (148 branches, 21 sub-branches and 3 virtual branches). It also has 3 overseas branches in New York, Hong Kong and London and 1 Representative office in Shanghai. |
