The Group's principal activity is to conduct business in the security industry in United States and other countries. It operates in two segments: Brink's and Brink's Home Security. Brink's segment services related to armored car transportation, ATM servicing, cash logistics and coin sorting and wrapping. Brink's Home Security segment provides marketing, selling, installing, servicing and monitoring electronic security systems in owner-occupied, single-family residences. The Group has operations in approximately 50 countries. Yhe Group operations include 800 facilities and 9,100 vehicles. The Group in North America serves customers through 182 branches in the U.S and 55 branches in Canada. The customers of the Group are banks, retail and other commercial businesses, investment banking and brokerage firms and government agencies such as country's central bank.
