Thomson Financial Business Description:
| The Group's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust Company. The objectives of the Group are to maximise shareholders' total return by means of a broadly diversified international portfolio, to achieve long-term asset growth in excess of the FTSE All-Share Index and to achieve regular dividend growth in excess of the increase in the Retail Prices Index. The Group is an Investment Company as defined in Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. The Group has been approved by the Inland Revenue as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporations Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 31-Oct-2006. Investment management services are provided by Henderson Global Investors Ltd for a fee calculated at the composite rate of 0.45% of the average assets under management on the last day of October in each of the two preceding years. The agreement may be terminated by either party by giving twelve months' notice. |
