The Group's principal activity is to provide banking and investment services to retail, small business, commercial and wealth management customers across Canada. These services are provided through 2,331 branches, call centres, telephone, wireless and internet banking. It operates through three segments: Domestic Banking provides comprehensive array of retail and commercial banking services through branch and electronic delivery channels to individuals and small to medium-sized business. International Banking supplies retail and commercial banking services through branches, subsidiaries and foreign affiliates. Scotia Capital provides credit and related products, debt and equity underwriting, foreign exchange, derivative products, precious metals products and financial advisory services. It also provides financial services for more than 50 countries.
