The Group's principal activity is to manufacture corrugated packaging and building products. It is divided into four business segments namely: Corrugated Packaging, Forest Products, Financial Services and Real Estate. The Corrugated Packaging segment manufactures containerboard and corrugating medium that it converts into a complete line of corrugated and specialty packaging. The Forest Products segment manufactures a variety of building products including lumber, particleboard, gypsum wallboard, fiberboard and medium density fiberboard. The Financial Services segment operates a savings bank and also provides mortgage banking, real estate development and insurance brokerage activities. The Real Estate segment develops real estate projects that it own directly, including its higher and better use timberland or indirectly through ventures. It operates in the United States and Mexico. The Group acquired PBL in July 2008.
