| The Group's principal activities are to design and market equipment to telecommunications service providers. It operates through three segments: Broadband, Transport and Services. The Broadband segment includes access, managed access and data product portfolios. The Transport segment includes solutions that enable service providers to transport service and manage optical bandwidth by adding capacity when and where it's needed. The Services segment delivers deployment, support services, professional consulting, training, and systems integration services. It has distribution activities located throughout the United States, Canada, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. Its customers are communication services providers which includes AT&T, BT, Verizon, Telstra, Chunghwa Telecom, Qwest, T-Mobile, Sprint, and Telmex. |
