| The Group's principal activity is to provide telecommunication services. The Group operates in four business segments: Mobile Communication, Fixed, Broadcast and Other Operations. Mobile Communication includes voice, data, Internet, content services and electronic commerce. Fixed comprises fixed network operations, analog PSTN, digital ISDN, Broadband telephony, xDSL, Internet and leased lines, as well as communication solutions. Broadcast consists of TV-based activities within the Nordic region. Other Operations are Satellite Services, Satellite Networks, Teleservice, Venture, Software services. The Group operates in Norway, Sweden, Other Nordic countries, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Thailand, Other Asia nd Other Countries. In 2007 the Group acquired Spray telecom AB, CEK AB, Tele2 A/S, TeamR3 A/S and Talkmore Holding AS. |
