The Group's principal activity is to provide international crude oil and petroleum product transportation services with a fleet of over 200 vessels, offices in 16 countries and 6,400 seagoing and shore-based employees. The Group has 4 operating segments, Spot Tanker, Offshore, Fixed-Rate Tanker, and Liquefied Gas. Spot Tanker consists crude oil tankers and product carriers operating on the spot market or subject to time-charters, or contracts of affreightment priced on a spot-market basis or short-term fixed-rate contracts. Offshore includes shuttle tanker operations, floating storage and off-take (or FSO) units, and floating production, storage and offloading (or FPSO) units, which primarily operate under long-term fixed-rate contracts. Fixed-rate tanker includes crude oil and product tankers on long-term fixed-rate time-charter contracts. Liquefied gas includes LNG and LPG carriers.
