| The Group's principal activities are the engineering and construction in the field of oil, gas and petrochemical industries. The Group also provides services for basic and detail engineering, construction and project management. Their main sectors of activity are Subsea, Offshore & Onshore. Subsea (Subsea, Umbilicals, Risers & Flowlines) activities include manufacture, supply and installations of submarine equipments. Offshore activities include field development, platforms, pipe lay, field decommissioning, and drilling and service applications underwater. Onshore Downstream includes gas treatment, oil refining, advanced system engineering and onshore lying of pipelines. It also includes manufacture of fertilizers, manures, chemicals, life sciences, metal transformation, cement products and infrastructures. The Group operates in Europe, Asia, the United States, Africa and the Middle East. In 2008, it acquired EPG Holding BV and Eurodim. |
