| The Group's principal activities are to provide basic telecommunication and internet services. It operates in two segments namely: Telecommunication Services, Passive Infrastructure Services. The Group currently operates in cities, namely, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Pune, Nasik, Nagpur, Panaji, Ahmednagar, Kolhapur. The Group introduced banking activities on mobile using short messaging service (SMS) like checking balance, request for cheque books and checks on loan and credit card accounts, transfer of funds and payment of bills, and information on mutual fund policies. On July 1, 2008, the Company acquired a wholly owned subsidiary 21st Century Infra Tele Limited. |
