| The Group's principal activity is to supply automotive systems, modules and components to global vehicle manufacturers and related aftermarkets. The Group operates in three segments: The Chassis segment designs, manufactures and markets product lines relating to steering, foundation brakes, brake control, modules and suspension. The Occupant system designs, manufactures and markets air bags, seat belts, safety electronics, steering wheels and security electronic systems. The Automotive components designs, manufactures and markets body controls, engine valves and engineered fasteners and components. The customers of the Group include Ford Motor Company, DaimlerChrysler AG, Volkswagen AG, General Motors Corporation and Renault-Nissan BV. It operates substantially through its subsidiaries, these operations primarily encompass the design, manufacture and sale of active and passive safety related products. |
