| The Group's principal activities are to design, manufacture and sell solar power products based on proprietary processes and technologies. The Group develops high performance solar cells, which are semiconductor devices that directly convert sunlight into electricity. It offers solar power products including solar cells, solar panels and inverters which convert sunlight to electricity compatible with the utility network. It also offer imaging detectors based on the solar power technology primarily for medical imaging applications. The Group currently sells its solar power products to system integrators and original equipment manufacturers. The Group operates in the United States, Germany, Asia and worldwide. In 2007, the Group acquired Solar Solutions and SP system. |
