The Group's principal activities are exploring for, producing and selling coal, copper and gold. For its base metals business, it has Whim Creek copper mine, Hillgrove mine and the Tritton copper mine. For coal mining, it consists of the Sebuku coal mine operated by PT Bahari Cakrawala Sebuku and Jembayan coal mine operated by PT Separi Energy in Indonesia. Mt Muro gold and silver mine operated by PT Indo Muro Kencana in Indonesia, for its precious metals business. And for its metals distribution segment, the Group has Varomet Holdings Limited group of companies, a non-ferrous metal and noble alloy products distribution business. It operates in Australia, the South East Asia, Europe and Africa.
