The Group's principal activity is retail trading. The Group operates in four segments: Department Store Division, Lindex, Hobby Hall and Seppala. Department Store is engaged in the department store and speciality trade in Finland, Russia and Baltic countries. Lindex serves its customers through a chain of fashion stores and several concepts for women's wear and cosmetics. Hobby Hall primarily of household and leisure articles. Seppala offers women's, men's and children's apparel, shoes and cosmetics at reasonable prices. The Group operates in Scandinavia, the Baltic Rim, Russia and the Czech Republic. No acquisitions were made in 2008.
