The Group's principal activities are to provide title insurance and real estate information services. The Group operates in two segments: Title Insurance and Real estate information. Title segment includes the functions of searching, examining, closing and insuring the condition of the title to real property. Real estate information segment provides electronic delivery of data, products and services related to real estate transactions. The services include post-closing lender services, automated county clerk land records, property ownership mapping, geographic information systems, property information reports, flood certificates, document preparation, background checks and tax-deferred exchanges. It provides post-closing services to lenders, including document retrievals, lien releases and loan pool certifications. The Group operates through a network of direct and agent offices throughout the United States.
