| The Group's principal activity is to designs, sources, markets and retails fashion-forward footwear for women, men and children. It operates in three segments: Wholesale, Retail and First Cost. The Wholesale segment creates and markets fashion forward footwear designed to appeal to customers seeking exciting, new footwear designs at affordable prices. The Retail segment enables to test and react to new products and classificationswhich, in turn, strengthens the product development efforts of Wholesale Division. The First Cost segment serves as a buying agent for the procurement of women's, men's and children's footwear for large retailers, including Target, Wal-Mart, J.C. Penney and Sears. It distributes products through retail stores, e-commerce website, department and specialty stores throughout the United States and special distribution in Canada, Europe, Central and South America, Australia and Asia. On 16-May-2007, the Group acquired Compo Enhancements LLC. |
