The Group's principal activity is mining of non-ferrous metals in India and Australia. It operates in five segments: Copper, Aluminium, Zinc, Power and Corporate and Others. Copper segment is engaged in custom smelting and includes a smelter, refinery, phosphoric acid plant, sulphuric acid plant and copper rod plant. Zinc segment is owned and operated by HZL. The Aluminium segment mining of mining of bauxite, aluminium conductor and various aluminium products. The power business consist of operations by SEL. Corporate and others includes other corporate activities.
